As much or as little as you want! The administrator section of the site allows you to decide which information you will require from prospects in exchange for the Free Reports they are requesting. We have found that our most successful customers require only a small amount of data. In fact, you may be best served by simply gathering name, e-mail and phone. That way, the auto-responder course can begin its magic and you can call the prospect at any time in the future.

The second worse thing you can do is think that the only way you'll get traffic to your site is to register your site with the major search engines! Can I have my own Web address?

Yes.  To use your own Web address (domain name) with the Mortgage Broker Template Site, you will need to follow these three easy steps:

  1. Register the domain name.  You may have already completed this step.  The template site comes with a FREE subdomain, usually a subdomain of imortgageu.com (eg. mycompany.imortgageu.com).  If you wish to use your own .com domain, you will need to register it on your own.  If you need a list of domain registrars to choose from, contact us at support@infusionsoft.com.
  2. Change your Domain Name Servers to point to Infusion Software.  Once you have registered your domain name, you need to change your authoritative DNS to point to Infusion.  If you have no idea what this means, it's okay, because your registrar will know.  Contact the company you registered your domain through and tell them that you want to change name servers. The name servers you will use are:
    NS1.ENOVASYS.COM
    NS2.ENOVASYS.COM
    This change will take effect within 24 hours.
  3. Contact Infusion Software.  Email support@infusionsoft.com right away to let them know that you have made it to this point.  They will ensure that our servers are set up to handle your domain.  Make sure to tell them your current template site domain name, as well as the new domain. We will make sure the set-up is completed properly.

How do my prospects request the free reports?

First your prospect will click on the title of a free report that captures his interest.  He'll be taken to a page with a description of the free report, and several fields where he'll enter his contact information in exchange for the free report.  Finally, he'll receive the free report either by e-mail, or directly on your website (you can control how each report is delivered).

Can I take an application online?

Yes, you can take mini applications right from the Website. The administrator section of the site allows you to choose which loan application fields you want your prospects to enter. This way you can determine how much information to gather from the site. *Note: If you also use MortgagePro CRM, your prospects' information can be automatically transferred to your CRM where you can then easily export it to your LOS program (using Fannie Mae 3.0 format). No need to re-enter the data!

Why aren't there any whiz bang graphics? Why is the site just Reports?

Direct Marketing works because it presents compelling benefits to prospects, answers their questions and leading them to contact you to “find out more”. This means the space you present to potential leads should capture their attention while giving them a sense that “you” can provide them the answers to their needs. Unfortunately, website development has gone the way of mass media advertising, with graphic artists and programmers wasting time and money creating sites with a site that is “cool” and even interactive but there is no meaty information that your prospects are looking for.
