A: I got this question a lot from clients when they first started using it. And it's a good one. I have a 2-part answer...

The FIRST part is this: I understand your concern for money. But the problem you're facing is NOT that you're spending too much money with your marketing. The problem is you're getting NO RESULTS. Consider this...

If you knew for every $1 you spent on marketing you got back $3 or $5 or even $20 in sales, you'd spend marketing money day and night, wouldn't you? You'd beg, borrow and steal to invest into your marketing... BECAUSE IT'S WORKING FOR YOU.

So the real problem you're facing right now isn't the amount of money you're spending, it's the return you're NOT getting on your hard-earned dollars.

Note: It's .91 cents per mailed issue for 75% of my clients.

Now...this is important. Ask yourself...how long does the average person in your area live in their home OR how often do they refinance? Nationally it's about 5.5 years for a move - BUT, it's about 3.5 years for a refinance, but let's be conservative and say, for example, it's 7 years overall in your area.

OK, let's do the math. Divide your power list of 300 by the average "conservative" length of home ownership (7 years), and you end up with...

Almost 43 Transactions EVERY Year -

AND GROWING!

That's how many deals will come from your list of 300. Now...you're not going to get every single one of those transactions - let's be real.

BUT, let me ask you one final question: When it comes time to refinancing or buy a home (or hearing of a friend or family member buying or selling), do YOU think those people are going to list or buy with some obnoxious stranger who cold-calls them over dinner time, or the person who has a built a trusting relationship, with frequent, value-oriented contact, month-after-month, year after year?

Q: What kind of computer software will I need?

A: Actually you do not even need a computer to finalize your monthly newsletter! We send you the newsletter printed out to you each month already set with your pre-selected defaults, and a Monthly Customization Form that you can easily fill if you would like to make changes to your upcoming newsletter. Then just either fax or mail the Monthly Customization Form back to us and we will make any requested changes that you selected. It can’t be any simpler.

Of course if you do have a computer the newsletter and forms are on the included CD along with the coverletter and inserts. These files will be saved in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat Reader so you will need to have access to these programs if you would like to view next month’s newsletter and complete the forms. You can then email the forms back to us, or print and either fax or mail them. MS Word is the most popular word processing software on the planet and Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free program that you can download by going to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. If your computer has any of the MS Office programs, it should have MS Word. Otherwise you can contact your local computer store.

Q: Couldn't I write my own newsletter each month?

A: Of Course you can. You can also grow your own trees so you can make your own paper. BUT, You'll need between 14 and 18 hours per month to research, write and format the newsletter.
